Paver Patio & Walkway

This customer wanted a patio and walkway to a pool with a paver overlay design. Due to Pennsylvania’s numerous frost/thaw cycles throughout the year, we poured concrete and then laid the pavers overtop. This helps prevent movement/sinkage of pavers.

The customer also requested a brick planter built on the patio. The patio, walkway and planter were all features that will make the customer’s back yard more enjoyable, especially during the outdoor seasons.

This job had a unique challenge due to two tree stumps that were underground where the patio was going (which were not visible prior to beginning the job). They were found during prep work. We loaded up a t-tag full of roots and a t-tag full of stumps which were totally not in the original job description or plan.
